With a 4B pencil, shade in under the neck, the belly areas, around the limbs and eye crests. Think about where the bones would stick out or where the body parts overlap the body. When it comes to shading, it really helps. Rex' so far!įeel free to tag me to any drawings that you've done with my 'How to draw'.ĮDIT: I have just noticed how weird the title must sound lolĪnother EDIT: I don't need a second part to shade her in! Here ya' go: Hope you're liking this 'How to draw a T. When you've finished, add in a few more creases to add to the realism. Tidy up the outlines by rubbing out the anatomy lines gently, and going other the every line in a HB pencil for a sturdy, solid outline. Add in any other small creases you want, particularly around the jaws where the teeth are, the top of the snout and the neck behind the eye crests. A narrow circle will act as a pupil and an oval/rectangle of sorts will be the eye highlights to add a spark to the face. Draw a small, rounded, slightly tilted rectangle near the bottom right corner of the eye crest. Add in some more creases under the snout line and in the eye crest. If you haven't already, draw in the nostril, a slightly bent and pointed dash between the tip of the snout line and the tip of the jaw. With a normal HB pencil, lightly sketch in the inner jaws, both lower and upper, and draw the fleshy buccals in between the jaws (the cheek-like skin). Draw in the more profound scales on the toes and sharpen the eye crests. Add more skin creases in the neck, belly, forehead and limb areas. Sketch in the extra details, again preferably in a H pencil. Afterwards, draw over the outline of the tail, turning the tip slightly, like you would draw curly hair or a ribbon. Go down the spine and add in the neck creases, then do the arms and underbelly. Great for outlines! Start with the eye crests and run down the snout, round of the jaws and the rest of the head. I recommend doing this with a H pencil, because even if you do it hard, it's easily erasable. Finally, the tail, keep it down and slightly twisted at the tip. Lightly sketch out the upper jaw, then the lower jaw. To continue publishing, please remove it or upload a different image. Oops! This image does not follow our content guidelines.
